My friend Sarah found this on YouTube, and I cannot help but share it despite my post only yesterday about things of a cattish nature. I am still clutching my stomach and broken ribs from laughing.
Attribution for the video: Simon Tofield, whose stuff can be seen at Tandem Films (click "Directors" then "Simon Tofield").
One of my favourite things about the video is the cat's voice: it's not the typical, overused, grating meow, but more of a calm, persistent meow that is quite sure of the outcome.
Thanks for this, Sarah!

That really was good. We are really trying not to let Bandito (our small wiener dog) sleep with us in the night, but he has taken to whining at the bed every few hours in the night until Dylan lets him up. I am sure if his legs were long enough to get him up he would be trying the baseball bat approach.

Craig sent me a link for this, that is great, funny stuff. What I like is all the detail with the cats actions and the room being clawed up and littered with toys. The man is obviously a cat parent. That is our house in the am, with the exception of there being three additional cats and the level of competition between them and all the politics that go along with it. Our cats aren't sure who to club, our sleeping forms or each other. Speaking of amusing pet videos did you guys see that cockateel(?) dancing to backstreet boys, that is rich.

Did see that video - that bird has rhythm! What would we do without animals ... certainly we wouldn't laugh enough.
